Van der Breggen produces in partnership private labels. Besides the private labels Van der Breggen has the brands Kanjers, Joop Bakker and Buys. Van der Breggen offers a big diversity of syrup waffles: large to small syrup waffles, waffles with chocolate and Fairtrade syrup waffles are all possibilities that Van der Breggen offers you. It is also possible to export these products to other countries.

For more than 10 years, Van der Breggen BV has supplied all large ‘health food retailers’ in the Netherlands. In the Netherlands, our organic products have a 100% distribution in the health food /organic retail business and distribution and a market share (waffles) of more than 80%.  Also in export we are leader in these waffles. In order to remain the specialist in organic caramel waffles and caramel cakes, we also endeavour to achieve the perfect balance between the best quality and perfect taste!
 
Since 2007, Van der Breggen has also been producing “frou frou” wafers (a wafer biscuit with vanilla cream filling), coffee wafer biscuits and java wafers (filled with vanilla cream). A number of these variations have also been available as an organic variation since 2009.

Buys
“Zoenen” (chocolate-coated marshmallows) has been a household word in the Netherlands since the war years. In the Netherlands, Buys Zoenen is synonymous with the most famous yellow box in the country. The Zoen has a biscuit base with a layer of marshmallow meringue, covered by a layer of cacao fantasy. This treat for young and old alike is a great product at a reasonable price.
 
 
 
 

Kanjers
An ultra-Dutch traditional product to accompany a cup of coffee has been developed into a present-day snack that can be enjoyed at any time of the day.
 
The unique concept of Kanjers is based on the increasing popularity of snack consumption (grazing). The aim is to have a perfect “anywhere at any time” product. It is modern in appearance and it is the only genuine brand of caramel waffles and caramel cakes with added value, an example of which is the useful double pack. The Kanjers multipack has now won a permanent position alongside cake and pastries in the Netherlands.
 
The Kanjers concept has been expanded by a chocolate-coated cake, previously known as “Space”. The main difference between this and the caramel waffle is that in a caramel waffle, the filling is between the two waffles and in the Kanjers chocolate caramel waffles, the caramel filling is on the top of the waffle. Bakker Joop
Van der Breggen also sells a caramel cake under our Bakker Joop brand. Bakker Joop caramel waffles underpin Van der Breggen BV’s success and they are one of the most widely sold caramel waffles in the Netherlands. This is a perfect product to eat at home, packaged in 10 waffles per pack, in a cellophane bag and on account of its reasonable price, is a real hit!
